WikiLeaks

The power of good triumphs over the power of evil, WikiLeaks will win at last.
Although there were a lot of troubles, such as its domain wikileaks.org was killed by everydns.net, its web hosting was stopped by Amazon, its accounts of PayPal, Visa and MasterCard were all denied by their owners, and even Julian Assange was arrested, WikiLeaks are still alive and even more powerful than before, not only because it keeps publishing new cables, but also because there are many mirrors and other supports from all over the world.
There must be some reasons for WikiLeaks to survive in such a tough situation, and the most important reasons I think will be below 10:
WikiLeaks
1. Nobody Has Been Harmed By WikiLeaks
Since WikiLeaks only “publishes and comments on leaked documents alleging government and corporate misconduct”, no one is or will be harmed because of those released document, just as what Julian Assange said:
WikiLeaks has a four-year publishing history. During that time we have changed whole governments, but not a single person, as far as anyone is aware, has been harmed.
2. WikiLeaks Is Legal
Up till now, WikiLeaks hasn’t violated any laws of any countries or areas, and no government has sued Julian Assange because of WikiLeaks.
3. WikiLeaks Is Not Alone
Up till now, there have been more than 1,300 mirrors for WikiLeaks, which means that people can get access to WikiLeaks via more than 1,300 domains or IPs, and the number of mirrors is growing every day.
4. WikiLeaks Is Not The Only One Who Leaks Cables
Besides WikiLeaks, The Guardian, The New York Times, Der Spiegel and some other medias also have released the leaking document, but only WikiLeaks is blamed by some governments.
5. Assange Wasn’t Arrested For WikiLeaks
Assange was arrested not for his website, but for sex crime charge, which he denied. And obviously, Assange’s personal life won’t affect the performance of WikiLeaks.
6. People Want To Know The Truth
Truth changes the world, and people want to know the truth, so that they can know where their taxes have been used, how their governments have performed, who killed the innocent people in wars, and any other truth about their countries, governments and money.
7. The Internet Society Supports WikiLeaks
The Internet Society has published their claim on the WikiLeaks issue and said:
Free expression should not be restricted by governmental or private controls over computer hardware or software, telecommunications infrastructure, or other essential components of the Internet.
8. The Internet Is Out of Government Control
Governments can ask their domestic companies to stop business with WikiLeaks, but they can’t control the internet. When the domain was killed, WikiLeaks changed a new one; When PayPal, Vista, and MasterCard were frozen, people also can donate via bank transfer, post mail and a new credit card; When one website of WikiLeaks was blocked or turned off, there are more than 1,000 other workable mirrors, etc.
9. Even Hackers Support WikiLeaks
Some hackers has attacked PayPal, Vista, MasterCard and some other websites that punished WikiLeaks or Julian Assange, which is not noble-minded, but shows their supports.
10. The Power Of Good Triumphs Over The Power Of Evil
WikiLeaks is a legal website which tells truth, and the truth doesn’t harm any single body, it is the power of good, and will triumphs over the power of evil who try to hide the truth.
The most difficult period has passed, WikiLeaks will keep alive and become more powerful.
